Today we drove. Wait I should make a disclaimer here. It's 1120pm mountain time and I am really tired. So if I make errors I apologize in advance. Today we drove from Hardin MT to the north entrance of Yellowstone. We stopped at the visitors center and picked up an audio tour, which are quickly becoming an addiction. Right there at the parks visitor center were Elk! Just hanging out. At first we thought they were statues but they moved. They are so calm. I wanted to pet one but that is a no no around these parks. We then drove up to the um. I think upper falls? This is what it looked like.
Then we drove around searching for wildlife. We saw elk, bison, a grey fox, swans, ducks, but no bears:(. It's crazy how the animals just hang out by the road or parking areas. See?
That was a big bison !
So many places to explore and see and we will be back tomorrow. So amazing to watch and smell the sulphur.

We then headed back to find our hotel i. West Yellowstone. We are all set for the night in an awesome hotel.
It was so pretty and I can not wait to see what tomorrow brings us!
