Drive into San Fransisco-Terri and Tom's House

The drive to San Fransisco was not bad at all from Ft. Bragg.  We kind of expected traffic delays but got really lucky.  We drove over the Golden Gate Bridge.

I was a bit nervous about driving on it, turned out there was no reason to be nervous at all.  It was an easy drive and pretty!

We had changed our hotel thanks to my amazing cousin Terri suggesting it!  Thanks Terri:)  We are so glad we stayed right near Fisherman's Wharf.  We would have been at the airport, which in hindsight would have been a huge mess.

This was on the way in!

At some point on this leg we had to stop for refills on meds, even the Walgreens had flowers

We finally get to see Sophia!

I finally get to see Terri!

Look at the view from Terri and Tom's house!

They were amazing hosts!  We had a good visit and learned about the city from Tom.  Terri made us a snack and we just relaxed until our dinner reservation.

Cruises come to this spot(I think)

Treasure Island, and Bay Bridges

Loved seeing all these!

We should have taken more pictures!

Kathy peeking at me from the driveway

This is where we ate, it was super good!  My pizza had pears, it was so good!  Tom shared his with me as well, it was super yummy!
After we walked to get some gelato and then headed back to the hotel.  It was a busy and fun day.

Ft. Bragg/Glass Beach/Drive to San Fran

Ok, now that I can post pictures I plan on doing several updates here!

In Ft. Bragg we mainly wanted to see the Glass Beach.  We did do a quick hike/nature walk out at Mackerricher to see sea lions and look at tidal pools.  I have been interested in tide pools for a long time, so much life in such a small place.

Here are some Sea Lions more views around the park and tide pools

We loved these ground squirrels-they called them Digger Squirrels.

The sea lions, were kind of tricky to get pictures of or even spot because of how lazy/still they are!

I love these safety signs!  They are funny to read!

We walked down a super steep set of "stairs" to get to the beach to find sea glass.  I was worried we wouldn't find any.  I also knew I was going to take a piece even if it was not allowed.  No need to worry on either account.  It is really a glass beach!  Sea glass was everywhere!  It was amazing, so much and it was like it had replaced the sand.  It was fun looking through it and seeing the different sizes and shapes and colors.

It really looked pretty when it was a bit wet!

Glass everywhere!  People took out lots so I did not feel guilty taking a little.

The view from the top of the steep steps!  Those were a doozy climbing up!
Worth it!

Squirrel!
