We will begin Monday and will be stopping at places like Denver, Mount Rushmore, Little Big Horn, Yellowstone, Jackson Hole WY, Salt Lake City, Reno, Ukiah CA, Muir Woods, San Fran, Yosemite, Delano, Sequoia, LA area, San Diego, Phoenix, Grand Cannon, and then a few pits stops on the way home.
I will attempt to blog daily about our adventures, sharing stories, pictures and tips. I love to do it, but I am not a professional by any means. We also tend to have contests, I like contests so I just make them up:) These are most likely things like, how often does Cheryl have to reorganize the car, or how many miles did we drive, or how many times we have lost Jennie...ok actually that better not happen again.
A bit about those of us that are traveling on this journey:
Aimee-I teach pre-k for a large public school system. I love to travel. I am an avid reader and enjoy photography as well.
Cheryl-She also teaches for a large public school system. She is a travel pro now! She planned all of this trip and is super organized. She loves to take pictures.
Jennie-Retired English teacher. She is an avid reader and loves to tour historical places. She is patient and is a fun companion on long trips.
Us three are the major players in the story but along the way we will have family join in on the fun as well.
Andrea-College Math instructor/teacher-will join us in Ukiah for a couple of days.
Kathy-Insurance Supervisor-will join us in San Fran for a bit
Michelle-Her sister will join in on the mayhem
Sophia-Professional teenager will be with us in San Fran/LA, then will join back up with us for the journey home from San Diego.
We will be doing a lot of fun things and we are all excited about the journey.
