Reagan's Library and drive into LA

On our way to LA we stopped at Reagan's Library.  It was very well done.  We all agreed that we enjoyed it but that Kennedy's Library was our favorite so far.

A huge piece of the Berlin Wall

I liked this sculpture of the two of them

I LOVED this painting, it was very colorful and I loved the 4th of July look

Jennie gave a speech

When Reagan was shot he was unable to talk for a few days, I took this picture because it reminded me of when Jennie was in the ICU writing us notes.

A replica of the Oval office

Reagan was given an elephant!

We had no idea that T. Boone was such a huge contributor to the Library, his name was everywhere!

Here he is again

This was MAJOR excitement for me!   They brought an actual Air Force One in and you can get in it and tour it!

I wish we were allowed to take pictures on it, but I understand they want to preserve it so many generations can tour it.

This was made out of Jelly Beans!

The speech about tearing down the wall

Part of 9-11

Me on a horse...not sure what else to say about this:)

Reagan's burial site, it faces west and it is an amazing view up there!

I bet sunset is amazing!
We then drove into Anahiem.  It was not a horrible drive but it definitely took longer with traffic.  We checked in and we had a connecting room with Kathy, Michelle, and Sophia.  It was a beautiful night and Cheryl and I decided to run out to the Angels game, we missed a couple of innings but that is ok:)  It was a fun game and a really nice venue!  The rest of the gang stayed back at the hotel.  Kathy and her crew were heading out to Carlsbad in the morning and we had several days to go.
